Mission Libraries: Bridging the Gap in Education Access
Mission Libraries is committed to making education accessible for all, focusing on school and out-of-school adolescents and youth. Our initiative comprises two main varieties:
In-School Libraries:
- Target Audience: School-going children.
- Objective: Provide access to educational resources within school premises.
- Impact: Enhance learning opportunities and academic achievement among students.
Community Libraries:
- Location: Established in villages and communities.
- Target Audience:Youth and adolescents.
- Objective: Enable access to books, job preparation materials, and skill development resources.
- Impact: Empower youth with knowledge and skills necessary for livelihood opportunities.
Key Features:
- Wide Variety of Books: Curated collection covering diverse subjects and skill development areas.
- Infrastructure Support:Sponsorship of library space, provision of basic infrastructure, and regular maintenance to ensure optimal functioning.
Our Approach:
- Setup and Sponsorship: We set up libraries, sponsor space, and provide basic infrastructure such as furniture, shelves, and reading materials.
- Regular Maintenance: Ensuring libraries remain functional and well-maintained to facilitate continuous access to educational resources.
Impact:
Through Mission Libraries, we aim to break barriers to education access and empower youth with the knowledge and skills needed to pursue their aspirations. By providing access to books, job preparation materials, and skill development resources, we pave the way for a brighter future for all.
Milestone : Have Also signed an MOU with Mahboobnagar Collector for setting up 10 community libraries across villages in Mahboobnagar, 2019
