Mission-B: Transforming Waste Paper into New Notebooks
Under Mission-B, we embark on a journey of sustainability and educational empowerment by recycling used paper to create fresh notebooks for underprivileged students in government schools.
Project Overview:
- Objective: Mission-B, meaning Mission-Books, aims to promote sustainability and access to education by recycling waste paper into notebooks for distribution among government school students.
- Impact: So far, we have recycled 30,000 kgs of used paper, resulting in over 92,000 notebooks, benefiting approximately 18,500+ students.
Method of Implementation:
- Paper Collection:Collaborating with colleges, corporate spaces, neighborhoods, and communities to collect recyclable paper. Point of Contacts (POCs) in each area facilitate paper donations, promoted through social media and public platforms.
- Recycling Process:Collected paper is sent to recycling units for processing into new notebooks.
- Distribution:Fresh notebooks are distributed to government school children across the city.
